 Dear Families, 

Tomorrow, Wednesday (5/31/2023), SERVICE NIGHT at 6pm. We will be painting stripes the parking lot and having ice cream floats.  Wear old clothes.

July 9- Youth/Family Twins Game. Leave Congo parking lot at 11:15. Please sign up in our office and bring $10 by June 11 if you want to reserve your spot.

This form helps Abby & Anjanette calculate the number of students attending. If you know you have a lot of students wanting to attend from your congregation I'd also recommend trying to find one or two adult volunteers to drive/chaperone to help us run this summer programming smoothly!

Update: March 23rd 2023

 Dear Church Families,

 

This Sunday we are going to watch the movie "The Prince of Egypt" downstairs in the youth room with the confirmands.

We will start the movie at 10am and it will be done around 11:30. We will have popcorn and lemonade.

 

The following Sunday is Palm Sunday, April 2.  We will be serving egg-bakes, pancakes and fruit at 10am for a campership fundraiser.

 

WHO CAN BRING AN EGG BAKE OR TWO?

 

WHO CAN WORK SET UP? 8am to 9:30?

 

WHO CAN WORK CLEAN UP? 10 to 11:30pm?

 

DON'T FORGET TO SIGN UP FOR CAMP AT WAPO OR LUTHER POINT.  

Our church will help with the costs from the campership fund. If you need more financial help to make camp happen, please let us know.

 

Diane Amans will help with a craft for Sunday School on Palm Sunday. Thanks Diane!

 

After worship on April 9, we will have a short Easter Egg Hunt for our kids at church.

 Dear First Lutheran Families,

 

Here is what we have planned for the following Sundays:

 

Sunday, January 22nd - 10:30am  Bring your tubes and sleds to Bjorge's home (1122 68th Avenue) for fun together!

 

Sunday, January 29th -  Abbie will plan something and serve treats.

 

Sunday, Feb. 5th, 10:30am - Open Gym at the Middle School.

 

Sunday Feb. 12th -Looking for ideas and a leader.

Education Committee will meet on this Sunday during or after Sunday School.

Update: 11/28/2022

 We have lots of events scheduled for this Wednesday night, November 30.

1.  Men in Mission will serve a free spaghetti dinner from 5-6pm.  

    Contact office with a head count. (715) 268-7135 or office@flcamery.org  

    We want kids, parents, and confirmands to join us for dinner.

2.  5pm Handbell Practice

3.  6pm Sunday School kids will practice for the Christmas Program

4.  Confirmands and adults can help decorate our church for Christmas

Update: September 20th 2022

 

Dear Sunday School & Confirmation & Hi League Families,

 We have an opportunity to go BOWLING here at Club 53 on Sunday, September 25th, after church.   We would like all of our youth to be there with parental supervision.  Please email back if your kids can OR cannot be there by Thursday, September 21st, at 10am. Please let us know!

Update: September 18th 2022

 There were some changes made to the schedule sheet handed out last week.  There were some dates updated in December and the dates of the the Luther Point Youth trip days were also corrected.  They should be October 5-7.

This document will be updated as we go forward  and the calendar will reflect those changes as well.
