Hello Sunday School Families!
This coming Sunday is our Christmas Program! Woohoo! We'll have a final dress rehearsal this Saturday from 9am-11am (or maybe 10:30) in the Sanctuary! Drop off and pick up will be in the Sanctuary.
Details for Sunday:
- Bring your kids to worship; Pr. Tim will dismiss them after the Gospel reading, about 9:15/20.
- The regular service will be shortened; when it's done there will be a brief transition right into the Christmas Program.
- For now we are having the kids just dress in nicer Sunday clothes; but we are thinking about doing a congregation-wide ugly sweater day (or just regular ol' sweater), in which case it'd be fun for the kids to dress in ugly sweaters, too.
- We'll send an email Thursday if we make it Ugly Sweater Sunday :)
Kids attending the Cookies & Craft event this Wednesday can ride bus #19 to church, or you can drop your kids off around 3:30/45. We'll have a snack and hot cocoa, make a Christmas Tomte (gnome), and decorate cookies. Pick up is at 5:00 in the Sunday School room. Parents are welcome to stick around and help!
On Dec. 18th we are going to have a Christmas Music concert at 6:00 featuring you and your kids! If you or your kids would like to share music with us, this is the perfect opportunity! We'll have a piano to play, but you can bring instruments as well. Reply to this email to sign up.
I've created some resources for you to work on the Christmas program songs at home--you have many options; hopefully one works for your family!

- Listen on spotify; the only downfall is that the theme song, "His Name is Jesus" is not available.
- Listen on Youtube; the only downfall is that some of the songs have extra verses you don't need to know.
