 We have lots of events scheduled for this Wednesday night, November 30.

1.  Men in Mission will serve a free spaghetti dinner from 5-6pm.

    We want kids, parents, and confirmands to join us for dinner.

2.  5pm Handbell Practice

3.  6pm Sunday School kids will practice for the Christmas Program

4.  Confirmands and adults can help decorate our church for Christmas

Update: September 20th 2022

 

Dear Sunday School & Confirmation & Hi League Families,

 We have an opportunity to go BOWLING here at Club 53 on Sunday, September 25th, after church.   We would like all of our youth to be there with parental supervision.  Please email back if your kids can OR cannot be there by Thursday, September 21st, at 10am. Please let us know!

Update: September 18th 2022

 There were some changes made to the schedule sheet handed out last week.  There were some dates updated in December and the dates of the the Luther Point Youth trip days were also corrected.  They should be October 5-7.

This document will be updated as we go forward  and the calendar will reflect those changes as well.

Update: May 8th 2022

Amery Community VBS is a ministry of Amery Congregational, First Lutheran,  East Immanuel Lutheran, Our Savior's, Neighbor's United, and Redeemer Lutheran Churches and Camp Wapo. This year VBS will be hosted at Amery Congregational Church June 12-16, 2022, from 5:00-7:30 each evening. 

We welcome kids entering 4K through 5th grade to attend, and also encourage middle and high school youth to be helpers (they should also register using the links above and below). VBS is free to attend, but we humbly accept free will donations to offset the costs, which is about $40/kid. Offerings can be dropped off at VBS (checks written to First Lutheran Church).

Update: April 1st 2022

 

First Lutheran’s Bible Camp is Luther Point in Grantsburg.

If you want to go to camp there, First Lutheran will give you $100 or more towards the cost.  Financial help is always available.

We have some kids that have expressed interest in going to Camp Wapo.  We will also give $100 toward this camp.

February 4th Update

 

We will worship this Sunday, February 6th, at 9am.  Sunday School will be from 10-10:45.  

We are having Open Gym at the Intermediate School for our church families from 12:30-1:30 (we have the gym to ourselves for this hour!).  You are welcome to stay until 3:30 if you'd like as the gym is open to the community until then!  Please INVITE FRIENDS to all of our activities!

 

On Wednesday, February 9th, from 5:30-8pm we'll have Pizza, Popcorn, & Games at church!  Everyone is invited (your friends, too!)!  We'll have a fun craft for kids!
