Hello Sunday School Families! Thanks to everyone who came for Rally Day! Despite having to be inside, we managed to have buckets of fun! We reunited with old friends and made new ones, too. We're excited to get back together this coming Sunday for class! In case you missed out on Sunday, here are a few notes: Photo Waiver: We are getting caught up with the times and are asking families to approve our use of photos for First Lutheran social media and marketing. If you're cool with it, we'll need your signature. Stop by the Sunday School room in the coming Sundays to do so! Mystery Kid: We're adding some fun to Sunday mornings and to our monthly church newsletter, The Messenger. But we need you to and your kids to answer a couple fun questions for us! Click here to learn more and respond to the questions. You can also find the same form in our app under the Youth>Sunday School tab. Snack Sign Up: Families sign up to provide snack and drink every week; just something simple! We still have Nov. 24th & Jan. 5th open. Any takers? Just reply to this email. Thank you! 1st-5th Grade Teachers: We need teachers in order to have Sunday School! No experience is necessary, and you get to follow along with a super easy curriculum that we provide (or you can make your own lesson/project, too! We still have openings for Jan. 5 (The Lord is My Shepherd), Mar. 1 & Mar. 8 (The Good Samaritan), and Mar. 29 (Holy Week & Easter). Any takers? Please let us know! For families with three-year-olds and kids entering 3rd grade, & 6th grade: Bible Sunday is September 15th where we'll present new Bibles to all those kids during worship.
